Alexander Krimer (Oboe)

BIOGRAPHY

Started playing the Oboe at the age of ten with Heinrich Kreipl in Bonn. Nowadays he studies with Prof. Diethelm Jonas at the Musikhochschule Lübeck and with Prof. Jacques Tys at the Conservatoire national supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Since summer 2018 he is studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig with Prof. Nick Deutsch.

Since 2019 he is a member of the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra in Japan.

Has won a number of competitions as an oboist and a pianist. Participated in master classes with different pedagogues such as Maurice Bourgue, Hans Jörg Schellenberger, Albrecht Mayer, Stefan Schilli, Nick Deutsch, Dudu Carmel, Ivan Podyomov, Alexei Ogrintchouck, and Matthias Bäcker.
