Aigul Khismatullina

A graduate of the Nizhnekamsk Music College (bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance) and of the Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory (master’s degree in Vocal Performance), where she also completed her postgraduate studies under the tutelage of Albina Shagimuratova. Since 2017 has been a Fellow at the Atkins Young Artists Program at Mariinsky Theatre. 

First prize winner of the 56th Tenor Vinas Contest (Barcelona, 2019). A laureate of the Classics on the Volga Festival (Tolyatti, 2013 and 2014), of the II All-Russian Musical Competi-tion (Moscow, 2014), of the Boris Pokrovsky Competition (Moscow, 2014) and many others. She has worked with such conductors as Valery Gergiev, Christian Knapp, Pavel Smelkov, Valery Trubin-Leonov, and Alim Shakhmametyev.
