Ga Eun Kim

BIOGRAPHY

Passed an early entrance examination to the Korea National University of Arts with a special admission in 2019. She is now studying with Professor Kang-ho Lee. Won first prizes at the Antonio Janigro International cello competition, Croatia (2012), Liezen International cello competition, Austria (2014) and Popper International cello competition, Hungary (2015).

In 2013 the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Republic of Korea honored her with the "The most promising young artist in Korea" award. Most recently she had a solo recital at Samsung Electronics Concert Hall. As a soloist performed with the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra, Euro Asia Philharmonic Orchestra and other Korean collectives.
