He studied at the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra da Metropolitana in Lisbon with Adélio Carneiro. Since 2015 he is studying at the Zurich Hochschule der Künste with Anne Jelle Visser supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He was also influenced by Ricardo Carvalhoso and Daniel Perantoni. In 2016 he won the International Solo Competitions in Markneukirchen (Germany) and in Pordenone (Italy). Has performed with the Gulbenkian Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Musikkollegium Winterthur and the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino under the baton of Riccardo Muti and Zubin Mehta.
