Sergey Dogadin

Graduated from Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (classes of Prof. Vladimir Ovcharek and Prof. Andrei Dogadin), studied at The International Menuhin Music Academy (IMMA) with Maxim Vengerov (2012). Completed postgraduate courses at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (class of Prof. Mihaela Martin) and at Universität Graz (class of Prof. Boris Kuschnir, with whom Sergei continues to improve his skills at the Music and Arts University in Vienna).

Laureate of numerous international competitions, such as XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition (second prize and the audience prize, first prize was not awarded), IX Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Hannover (first prize) and Singapore International Violin Competition (first prize). Plays on a Domenico Montagnana violin (Venice, 1721).
