He graduated from the Special Music School of the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory. In 2014 was accepted to the Conservatory. Grand Prix winner of the Blazhevich All-Russian Competition (2005). Won the first prize as well as the Dokschitzer Foundation special prize at the Mravinsky International Competition. He also won the first prize and Stormvi special prize at the Tallinn International Competition (2019).
A founding member of the Brass-Baroque quintet. Regularly plays at the festivals and concerts in Europe. Performs together with his sister organ player Anna Ivanova. Since 2013 has been a member of the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra.
