At the age of seven he was accepted to the Special School for Gifted Children in Donetsk (class of Albina Oryshchuk). He later graduated from the Donetsk Prokofiev State Musical Academy with Honours. In 2010 he continued his piano studies at the University of the Arts in Bremen earning master’s degree with Professor Patrick O'Byrne. Attended master classes with Dmitri Bashkirov, Paul Badura-Skoda, Mikhail Voskresensky, Yakov Kasman.
He is the recipient of numerous awards and competition prizes, including the gold medal at the Cincinnati World Piano Competition (USA), the Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary, the Gian Battista Viotti Competition in Vercelli and many others.
Concert appearances have taken him throughout Germany, Canada, the USA, Australia, Cyprus, South Korea, Japan. He has participated in diverse international music festivals such as the Honens Festival in Calgary, Kiev Music Nights Festival, Rarities of Piano Music at Husum Festival, the Bremen Music Festival, the Paderewski Festival in Raleigh, South Carolina, the Gina Bachauer Festival in Salt Lake City and other festivals in Germany, Italy, Austria.
