Adrien Philipp (Clarinet)

Began his clarinet studies with René Meyer at Conservatoire Populaire de musique, danse et théâtre in Geneva. He also studied with the French clarinetist Romain Guyot at Geneva Music University. He is now perfectionating himself with the finnish soloist Björn Nyman at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. Attended master classes with Sabine Meyer, Wenzel Fuchs, Calogero Palermo, François Benda and Harri Mäki.

He played with the Orchestre de la Suisse romande, Orchestre de chamber de Lausanne, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Opéra national de Montpellier. In 2016 he participated in the Orchestra Academy of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. In 2017 and 2018, he was a member of the Verbier Festival Orchestra.

In 2014 he was awarded a second prize at the Concours National d'Execution Musicale in Riddes, Switzerland.
