Bora Demir (French horn)

He started his studies at the Istanbul University State Conservatory with Sertan Sancar in 2013.

He performed at the Prague Music Festival in 2015. He went on tours with Turkish-Greek Youth Orchestra in 2016. Participated in concerts given by the Turkish Youth Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Cem Mansur in the concert halls such as Berlin Konzerthaus, Smetana Hall, Prague Rudolfinum, Teatro Filarmonico de Verona. He was awarded the second prize at the National Young Talents Competition (2017) held by Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra and was awarded the first prize at Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso Music Competition in 2018. He has been playing with orchestras such as Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra, Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. He also played as a soloist with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Istanbul University Symphony Orchestra and Düsseldorfer Symphoniker. He is now the solo French horn of Deutsches Symphonie Orchester.
