Danylo Matviienko

Completed a bachelor’s degree at the Donetsk State Music Academy under the tutelage of Prof. Piotr Onchul, before graduating from the National Music Academy of Ukraine with a master’s degree where he studied with Prof. Alexander Diachenko. Shortly after joined the Academia Operowa of the Polish National Theatre in Warsaw where he studied with Eytan Pessen. He is currently an artist in residence at the Académie de l’Opéra National de Paris. He will be an artist in residence at the Opera studio of the Oper Frankfurt for the 2019/2020 season.

Was awarded the second prize at the Antonina Campi International Voice Competition in Lublin (Poland) and the special prize at the IV Shtokolov International Voice Competition in St. Petersburg (Russia).
