He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Baylor University studying with Brent Phillips and a Master of Music degree from Rice University studying under Allen Barnhill. As a soloist he presented his recitals and master classes at the International Trombone Festival and the Juilliard School.
Since 2018 he has been a principal trombone of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. He previously held the same position in the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.
