Lev Juravskiy (Clarinet)

In 2006 he entered the Middle Special School of Music of the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory. In 2011 he began his studies in the clarinet class of Grigory Maliyev. Since 2018 he has been studying at the St Petersburg Conservatory with the same teacher. He attended master classes with Heiner Schindler, Hedwig Swimberghe, Rosemary Brumbelow, Evgeny Petrov, Giora Feidman, Olli Leppäniemi, Ralph Manno.

In 2016 he won the Grand Prix at the St Petersburg Fanfares Competition and the 2nd prize at the Weber-сlarinet International Competition in Petrozavodsk. As a member of the wind quintet he won the Wind Ensembles Competition in Moscow (2018).

He played in the Netherlands and Switzerland. In September 2018 he toured in Asia with the Youth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Yuri Bashmet. Since 2017 he has been collaborating with the St Petersburg House of Music.
