He started playing trombone and piano at the age of nine. After studying at the music school in Wittenbach, he went to Gymnasium Hofwil near Bern. At the same time he studied with Branimir Slokar at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. In 2017 he earned his master’s degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin (class of Andreas Klein). In summer 2018 he returned to Bern to study with Ian Bousfield.
Since 2014 he has been playing principal trombone in the Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein. He also collaborated with many Swiss and international orchestras and ensembles, including WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Düsseldorfer Symphoniker and Sinfonieorchester Basel, Camerata Zurich and others.
