Sara Daneshpour

Sara Daneshpour has studied under Leon Fleisher at the Curtis Institute of Music, under Yoheved Kaplinsky at the Juilliard School and under Oleg Volkov. Since 2015 she has continued to study under Sergei Babayan at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

A winner of the Astral Artists National Auditions (2010) and of the ProLiance Energy Classical Fellowship Awards of the American Pianists Association (2013). Won the first prize and Gold Medal at the International Russian Music Piano Competition (2007), the second prize at the William Kapell International Piano Competition (2007), the first prize at the XII Concours International de Musique du Maroc (Morocco, 2012) and the third prize at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition (2017). A laureate of the Seoul International Music Competition (2014).
