BIOGRAPHY

Graduated from the Academia de Música Valentim Moreira de Sá in Guimarães (Portugal), where studied with Vitor Matos. He continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik der Stadt Basel with François Benda.

A laureate of numerous competitions, some of the most important being Paços Premium International Music Competition (2008), Marco Fiorindo International Music Competition (2012), Czech Clarinet Art Competition (2013), Gheorghe Dima International Clarinet Competition (2017). Performs as a soloist as well as with orchestras and chamber ensembles.

A first clarinet with the Musikkollegium Winterthur Orchestra (Switzerland).
