Yuriy Radzevich (Bassoon)

Graduated from the Special Music School of the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Dmitri Krasnik) and was accepted to the St. Petersburg Conservatory in 2004 (class of Prof. Kirill Sokolov). In 2012 he completed his postgraduate studies at the Conservatory. Since 2007 has been a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra.

A laureate of the Open Competition of Young Performers (St. Petersburg, 1999), the International Dmitry Beda Competition (Lviv, 2000), the V Mravinsky Competition (St. Petersburg, 2006), the II Rimsky-Korsakov Competition (St. Petersburg, 2008). Won the Grand Prix at the XXI Century Art Competition (Vorzel, 2003). First prize winner at the Russian-German Gartow Stiftung Competition (2011).
