Emilia Ablaeva

BIOGRAPHY

Graduated with honours from the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine (Kiev) studying under Prof. Evdokia Kolesnik (2012). Currently she is continuing her studies as a postgraduate student. At the IV Maxim Mikhailov International Competition for Young Opera Singers in Kaluga in 2014 she won second prize for chamber singing and received a diploma for opera singing. In 2015 she was awarded a diploma and a prize for the best interpretation of a song by Rimsky-Korsakov at the IX International Rimsky-Korsakov Competition of Young Opera Singers in Tikhvin, and also received a diploma at the II Opera Without Borders Competition for Young Opera Singers in Krasnodar. A laureate of the X Elena Obraztsova International Competition for Young Opera Singers (St. Petersburg, 2015). Has given recitals in Macedonia, Turkey, Romania, and Germany. Since 2013 she has been a soloist at the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers.
